Each year, The L.A.T.E. Ride planning committee members vote on the winning t-shirt design. Brandon Boyd's design garnered the top number of votes to win the 2003 contest.

Brandon Boyd grew up in Aurora and moved to Chicago to attend art school. He graduated from the School of The Art Institute and has worked as a graphic designer in the Chicagoland area since 1993. In 1997, Brandon launched a freelance graphic design company specializing in print and web design. Brandon and his wife currently live in Oswego, Illinois. Brandon told us he enjoys "anything outdoors" and has participated in The L.A.T.E. Ride on and off for the past seven years.

In addition to a great ride, 2003 participants enjoyed live music by L.U.V. before the ride and sampled lots of treats like Balance Bars, Dannon yogurt, Propel Fitness Water, Home Run Inn pizza, Motts Healthy Harvest apple sauce, bagels from The Great American Bagel and much more! The LATE Ride provided 9,000 participants a chance to catch a rare glimpse of the city Long After Twilight Ends under the stars and an almost-full moon!
