Sponsorships Available

McDonald's L.A.T.E. Ride hosted by and supporting Friends of the Parks provides sponsors with efficient and cost-effective opportunities to reach a large, upscale audience through the internet, media, collateral and on-site signage. We can tailor a sponsorship package to meet your company's marketing goals. Please contact Nancy Minster Swabb, Ride Director, at lateride@hotmail.com for more information and a proposal.

The ride is among the largest bicycling events in the United States and Chicago's only after-midnight bicycle ride! Cyclists ride 25 miles under the moonlight through the city's downtown and North Side neighborhoods and along Chicago's spectacular lakefront bicycle path. They see the best the city has to offer: a stunning skyline, culture, diverse neighborhoods, nightlife, architecture and more. They finish at Buckingham Fountain while enjoying the sunrise over Lake Michigan. "It's like Woodstock on wheels," said one rider. "I love the camaraderie!"

We have both cash and in-kind sponsorships available, although some categories have been filled.

Our "Sampling Friend" sponsors receive a very important ride benefit - exposure among all 9,000 L.A.T.E. Ride participants through an easy, cost-effective sampling program! Send us your samples and/or literature in June or early July 2008 and we'll do everything else! (We even have refrigerated and freezer warehouses to accommodate food/beverages products prior to the ride, and refrigerator and freezer semi-trailer trucks to transport your product and keep it cold on-site.) Mobile tours, of course, are welcome too! Products needed include food and snacks, sample products and coupons for the goody bags.
