T-Shirt Design Contest Each year, Friends of the Parks holds a t-shirt design contest open to everyone. We received more than thirty submissions in 2011, from which the planning committee chose this year's design. Check out The T-Shirt Gallery to view designs from 1989 through 2011. (Actually, we didn't have the money our first year to produce t-shirts, so 350 riders in 1989 got a patch!) It's never too early to start thinking about a design for 2012! We encourage you to submit a design for the 24th annual t-shirt! Submission deadline: 4:00pm on April 1, 2012. Guidelines: Please use 5 colors or less Present your design on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of paper Image should convey the fun of an after-midnight bicycle ride through Chicago! See Our T-Shirt Gallery for inspiration. You may also include an idea for the back of the shirt (sponsor logos appear on the back under graphic elements) Text on the shirt should include the following on the front: The L.A.T.E. Ride Midnight to Sunrise Chicago 07-08-12 (or July 8, 2012) Please submit your design for the 2012 shirt no later than April 1, 2012. You can submit your design both electronically by email and by mail (so whe have a hard color copy).
